Midwest Auto Collision, Inc is pleased to provide a Limited Warranty on Paint Work, Body Work, and Mechanical Repairs performed by our shop to the present owner of the vehicle designated on this warranty. This warranty shall only apply if the defects occurred under normal driving conditions and not where any vehicle has been subjected to accidents, negligence, abuse or misuse. The terms and conditions of this warranty are as follows:
- Body and Frame Work: Midwest Auto Collision, Inc extends a Limited Warranty on all body, frame and unibody work performed by Midwest Auto Collision, Inc as evidenced by the final repair order on the vehicle for a period of 12 (twelve) months. Body Work is defined by this Warranty to include welding, body finishing, and the application of materials utilized in making body collision repairs on the vehicle. This warranty protects against faulty body work directly resulting in cracking, flaking, pitting or deterioration of the body work on the body surface. The shop will, at its sole discretion, repair and repaint, as necessary, the portion of the vehicle damaged by the defective body work unless, in the Shop’s sole discretion, such damage is the result of unreasonable use, maintenance or care of the vehicle after the repairs have been made. This Warranty specifically excludes any damages resulting from corrosion/rust.
- Paint, Stripes, and Decals: Midwest Auto Collision, Inc extends a Limited Warranty on refinishing related to priming and painting topcoat performed by Midwest Auto Collision, Inc as evidenced by the final repair order on the vehicle for a period of 12 (twelve) months. Paint Warranty is valid only when the paint is applied over original factory finishes that are free of defect, or applied on sections repaired or prepped by Midwest Auto Collision, Inc. The warranty includes repair of paint in the case of solvent blistering, peeling, hazing and excessive loss of pigmentation. Additionally, a twelve (12) month Written Warranty on the application and adhesion of decorative stripes and decals, excluding defects which are caused by extreme environmental conditions to which the vehicle may be exposed. The Shop will, at its sole discretion, re-prime, re-paint, re-stripe or re-decal the specific section or sections of the vehicle warranted hereby. This Warranty excludes any obligation to repair or replace any decorative stripes, decals or artwork placed on the vehicle after the course of repairs or not specifically detailed on the final repair order. Paint materials are subject to a manufacturer's warranty from the supplier.
- Parts: Midwest Auto Collision, Inc guarantees that parts or materials used are of the first quality. Those parts or materials are subject to the guarantee of that supplier. We will assist you in handling any claim under the supplier’s guarantee. We guarantee that used parts or other than original equipment manufactured parts were not used without authorization from you as noted on the Repair Order. Parts are warrantied with the manufacturer's warranty only.
- Mechanical Work: Midwest Auto Collision, Inc provides a twelve (12) month Written Warranty on all mechanical repairs pertaining directly to original collision damage, excluding suspension, or electrical assemblies or components. The Shop will, at its sole discretion, re-repair any mechanical assembly or component warranted hereby. This Warranty excludes any damages occasioned to the mechanical repairs made by Midwest Auto Collision, Inc as a result of unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle or subsequent collision damages incurred to the vehicle after the date of repairs.
- Sublet Work: Items on the repair order, such as Sublet Work or Sublet Labor, are subject to the guarantee of those suppliers warranties only.
SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED from this Written Warranty are rust coming through the metal, scratches and grave marks acquired from driving conditions. Also excluded are any incidental costs, including but not limited to, towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses, or damages to assemblies or components which were not specifically listed in the final repair order, nor are consequential damages such as damage to other assemblies and components resulting from defective part or installation of such part installed or repaired during the repair included in this Written Warranty.
This Written Warranty shall not be varied, supplemented, qualified or interpreted by any prior course of dealings.
This Written Warranty shall be null and void if the repair is altered, adjusted or tampered with by any persons not authorized by Midwest Auto Collision, Inc.
This warranty is not transferable.
